Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.

Ingredients for Rasmalai Mousse in Orange Cups Recipe

  • Rasmalai syrup squeezed out and finely chopped 6 + to garnish

  • Flavoured milk (left over rasmalai milk) 3-4 tables for drizzling

  • White chocolate ganache 1/2 cup

  • Whipped cream 1 cup

  • Almond slivers 1 tablespo to garnish

  • Pistachio slivers 1 tablespo to garnish

  • Orange peel cups 4


Step 1

Take white chocolate ganache in a bowl, add whipped cream and mix well.

Step 2

Add chopped rasmalai and flavored milk and mix well. Add almonds and pistachios and mix well.

Step 3

Fill this mixture into a piping bag fitted with a nozzle and pipe it into each orange cup.

Step 4

Quarter a rasmalai and place a slice over each cup. Drizzle some flavoured milk on each, garnish with pistachios and almonds and serve chilled.
