Ingredients list for Rajgara Atta Aur Sama Ki Idli

  • 1 cup Rajgire ka Atta sieved
  • 1/2 cup Varai
  • 1/2 cup Kootoo ki dal
  • 6 cups Buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon Green chilli paste
  • 1 teaspoon Peppercorns crushed (optional)
  • to taste Rock salt (sendha namak)

Method

  1. Soak rajgara atta, kuttu ki dal and vari in buttermilk for four to five hours. Add green chillies, crushed pepper and sindha namak to the batter. Mix it well.
  2. Boil water in idli steamer, pour one full spoon of rajgara batter in idly stand. Steam it for fifteen minutes. Serve hot.
