Ingredients list for Rabdi Burfi - SK Khazana
- 1 litres Full fat buffalo milk
- 3/4 cup Castor sugar
- 1 1/2 cups Mawa
- 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg powder
- to garnish Silver varq
- to garnish Pistachio powder
Method
- Bring the milk to a boil and in a deep non-stick pan. Add sugar, mix well till melts.
- Add 1 cup mawa cook for 15 minutes while stirring periodically. Add nutmeg powder and mix well. Cook till it comes to rabdi consistency.
- Add the remaining mawa, cook, stirring continuously till the mixture thickens.
- Pour the mixture into a greased burfi tray. Allow to cool down to room temperature and keep in the refrigerator overnight.
- Garnish with silver varq and pistachio powder. Cut into cubes and serve cold.
