Ingredients
- 180 grams multi dal chilla mix
- 2 tbsps boiled sweet corn kernels, crushed
- 1 medium carrot, grated
- 2 tsps roasted white sesame seeds
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
- ½ cup grated cottage cheese (paneer)
- ½ tsp oil + for drizzling
- Salt to taste
Dip - 1½ cups chilled yogurt, whisked
- 1 medium English cucumber
- Salt to taste
- Roasted cumin powder for sprinkling
Method
- To make the batter, take multi dal chilla mix in a large bowl. Add sweet corn kernels, carrot, white sesame seeds, green chillies, chopped coriander, cottage cheese, 2½ cups water and whisk till well combined. Adjust salt and mix well.
- Heat oil in a non-stick tawa, pour a ladle of this batter and gently spread to make a thin cheela. Drizzle a little oil on the sides and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- For the dip, take yogurt in a bowl, grate cucumber in it and add salt. Mix well.
- Transfer the cheelas on a serving plate and serve hot with the yogurt dip sprinkled with roasted cumin powder.
