By Sanjeev Kapoor 12 Jun 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Prawns, Sugarcane sticks Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Prawn On Sugarcane Stick 300 grams Prawns 4 Sugarcane sticks 1/4 cup Flaked white fish fillet 1 teaspoon Salt 1 teaspoon Sugar 3 cloves Garlic 2 Fresh red chillies 1 tablespoon Lime juice FOR SAUCE 3 cloves Garlic,chopped 2 Fresh red chillies,finely chopped to taste Salt 1 1/2 teaspoons Sugar 2 tablespoons Vinegar 1 teaspoon Soy sauce Method Put the prawns in a mixer container. Add fish, salt, sugar, garlic, fresh red chillies and lemon juice and grind to a fine mixture. Transfer into a bowl and divide into four portions. Dampen your hand and take each portion of the fish mixture and wrap around a sugarcane stick. Heat a grill pan and place these sticks on the pan and grill. Brush a little oil on the surface, flip and continue to grill till both the sides are evenly golden. To make the sauce, put the garlic in a bowl. Add fresh red chillies, salt, sugar and vinegar and mix well. Add soy sauce and mix well. Let it stand for at least half an hour before using.
