Ingredients list for Prawn Green Masala
- 1/2 kilogram Prawns peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch Coriander for garnish
- 1/2 bunch Fresh mint leaves
Method
- Marinate the prawns with lemon juice and set aside for twenty minutes.
- Grind together mint leaves, coriander leaves, garlic and green chillies with water to a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add onions, cinnamon, cloves and black peppercorns and saute till the onions turn brown in color.
- Add turmeric powder and tomatoes and saute till the tomatoes get cooked.
- Add prawns and salt and mix well and cook further for two minutes.
- Add the mint and coriander paste and cook till the prawns gets cooked.
- Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
