Ingredients list for Pink Guava Fritters

  • 3-4 medium Guava pink
  • ¾ cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • 2 cups Tempura flour
  • for deep-frying Oil
  • for dusting Icing sugar


  1. Remove the eye of the guavas and cut into wedges.
  2. Take tempura flour in a bowl. Add sufficient cold water and whisk well to make a smooth and thick batter. Add castor sugar and mix well till sugar dissolves.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  4. Dip guava wedges in the batter and deep-fry till light golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Dust with icing sugar and serve hot.
