Ingredients list for Phodnicha Bhaat

  • 2 cups Steamed white rice (leftover)
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 4-5 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 cup Coconut scraped
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped

Method

  1. Heat oil in a kadai, add garlic and onions and sauté till onion becomes soft and pink. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and leftover rice. Cook for about three to four minutes on medium heat, stirring constantly. Add coconut and mix lightly. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
