Ingredients list for Peanut Jam French Toast
- 8 Brown bread slices
- 2 Eggs
- as required Peanut butter
- as required Jam
- ¼ cup Castor sugar
- 2 tablespoons Cream
- ¼ cup Milk
Method
- Break eggs into a bowl. Add castor sugar, cream, milk and whisk well.
- Spread peanut butter on four bread slices and jam on the remaining slices. Now sandwich the slices in such a way that peanut butter and jam face each other.
- Heat the butter in a non-stick pan. Dip the sandwiches in the egg mixture and cook in the pan, turning sides till evenly golden on both sides.
- Cut into triangles and sprinkle icing sugar on top. Serve immediately.
