Ingredients for Peanut Butter Chocolates Recipe

  • Peanut butter ¾ cup

  • Dark chocolate melted 2 cups

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) ½ cup

  • Fresh cream ½ cup

  • Butter 1 tablespoon

  • Peanuts coarsely crushed as required

Method

Step 1

To prepare caramel sauce, heat castor sugar in a non-stick pan and cook till it caramelizes. Add cream, mix and cook for 1 minute. Add butter and mix till it melts.

Step 2

Fill a plastic chocolate mould tray with melted dark chocolate, swirl it around and pour back into the chocolate bowl. Scrape off excess with a scrapper. Refrigerate for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Fill 2 different piping bags with caramel sauce and peanut butter in each.

Step 4

Pipe out some caramel sauce in each mould filling ¼ of it. Put some crushed peanuts on top. Pipe out peanut butter filling ¾ of it and gently tap the tray.

Step 5

Fill up moulds with remaining melted dark chocolate and tap. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.

Step 6

De-mould and serve.
