Ingredients list for Paan Chocolate Mousse
- 1 cup Milk chocolate chopped
- 4 tablespoons Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- 2 tablespoons paan filling
- 3 Egg yolks
- ¼ cup Warm milk
- 2 cups Whipped cream
- to sprinkle Dark chocolate chips
Method
- Boil some water in a deep non-stick pan. Place a large glass bowl on top. Add castor sugar and egg yolks and whisk continuously till it achieves ribbon consistency. Remove from heat.
- Add milk and whisk well.
- Melt chocolate in a microwave proof bowl in the microwave oven for 30 seconds, add it to egg yolk mixture and whisk well. Add paan filling and mix well.
- Transfer ½ of egg yolk mixture into another bowl. Add whipped cream and fold in. Add remaining egg yolk mixture and fold in well.Pour into serving glasses and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Fill a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle with whipped cream and pipe out rosettes on top of the mousse in each glass. Place some chocolate chips in the center and serve immediately.
