Ingredients list for Mushroom Matar Mustard
- 10-15 Button Mushrooms halved
- 1/2 cup Green Peas
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Mustard seeds
Method
- Heat oil in a non stick pan, add ½ tsp mustard seeds, cumin seeds, onion seeds, onions and saute till golden.
- Grind garlic, green chillies, ginger, coriander seeds, remaining mustard seeds in a mixer jar with a little water to a fine paste.
- Cube potatoes and add to pan and mix. Add mushrooms and the ground paste and mix. Pour 1 cup water into the mixer jar, shake it well and add to the pan.
- Add salt, turmeric powder and mix well. Cover and cook till potatoes are almost done.
- Add green peas and mix. Cover and cook till potatoes are completely done.
- Serve hot.
