Ingredients list for Mozzarella Stuffed Chillies

  • 250 grams Mozzarella cheese grated
  • 8 Jalapeno
  • 8 Bhavnagri green chillies
  • 2 teaspoons Dried mixed herbs
  • 1 cup Cornflour/ corn starch
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 cups Fresh bread crumbs
  • to deep fry Oil

Method

  1. Slit Bhavnagri chillies and remove the seeds. Slit the pickled Jalapeno chillies and remove seeds. Take grated cheese in a bowl, add dried mixed herbs and mix.
  2. Stuff this mixture into the chillies. Mix cornstarch, salt and water to make a batter. Dip the chillies in the batter then roll in the breadcrumbs.
  3. Repeat the process to get a double coating. Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan till very hot and deep fry the chillies till golden brown. Drain and place on an absorbent paper. Serve hot.
