Ingredients for Mango Chutney Submarine Recipe

  • Garlic Bread halved lenghtwise 1

  • Cottage Cheese 1 tablespoon

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Paneer (cottage cheese) cut into 1/2 inch thin pieces 100 grams

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder to taste

  • Mango chutney 2 tablespoon

  • Cucumber peeled and sliced 1

  • Chaat masala 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish


Step 1

Preheat the oven at 200°C. Apply butter on the inside of both pieces of garlic bread. Toast them in the preheated oven till crisp and light brown.

Step 2

Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and half teaspoon chaat masala on the paneer pieces and toss well. Heat oil in a non stick pan and sauté paneer pieces till lightly browned.

Step 3

Place one half of bread on a plate, apply mango chutney on it. Place cucumber and cooked paneer, sprinkle the remaining chaat masala. Repeat the layers once.

Step 4

Sprinkle mint leaves and cover with the second bread slice. Serve immediately.
