Ingredients

  • 200 gms macaroni, cooked
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons whole wheat flour (atta)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 6-8 broccoli florets + a few florets for garnish, blanched
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon mixed dried herbs
  • 50 grams processed cheese
  • 4 teaspoons tomato ketchup

Method

  1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan, add whole wheat flour and saute for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add ½ cup milk and mix well so that there are no lumps.  Add 1½ cups milk gradually and keep stirring while adding and cook till the mixture reaches a sauce consistency.
  3. Finely chop 6-8 broccoli florets in a chopper and add to the sauce and mix well.
  4. Add salt, pepper powder and dried mixed herbs and mix well. Add boiled macaroni and mix well.
  5. Half fill 4 glass cups with macaroni mixture. Grate cheese and put some over the macaroni in each cup and top it with 1 tsp tomato ketchup.
  6. Garnish with a little broccoli and serve.
