Ingredients
- 2-3 raw bananas
- 3 tablespoons carrom seeds
- 1 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)
- 2 whole dry red chillies, stemmed
- Rock salt (sendha namak) to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
Method
- Heat oil in a heavy based pan, add carom seeds and red chillies. Stir fry, add banana slices and stir over high heat Lower heat, add salt, cover and cook till tender.
- Check for doneness by pressing a piece, if it is soft it means it is done. Mix in lemon juice and serve garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
