Ingredients list for Ice Cream Cake
- 1 1/2 cups Chocolate chip ice cream melted
- 1 3/4 cups Refined flour
- 1/2 cup Castor sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/4 cup + For topping Dark chocolate chips
- For topping Chocolate sauce
Method
- Preheat oven to 180˚ C. Grease a loaf tin and set aside.
- Take castor sugar in a bowl, add eggs and beat with a hand blender till light and fluffy. Add melted ice cream and beat till well incorporated.
- Sift together flour and baking powder into the mixture. Add chocolate chips and fold in till well mixed.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf tin and tap it gently. Sprinkle some chocolate chips on top. Keep the tin in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes. Remove from oven and let it cool down to room temperature.
- De-mould and keep the cake on a serving plate and drizzle chocolate sauce on top. Slice and serve.
