Ingredients list for Hush Puppies Oatmeal and Corn Popcorn

  • 1 packet (40 gms) Polenta
  • 1 cup Corn
  • 300 grams Polenta
  • 100 grams Refined flour
  • 1 tsp + for sprinkling Red chilli powder
  • to taste + for sprinkling Sea salt
  • 120 grams Processed cheese
  • 330 millilitres Beer
  • 3 stalks Spring onion greens
  • for deep-frying Oil


  1. Take Saffola Masala Curry and Pepper Oats in a bowl. Add corn kernels, refined flour, polenta, 1 tsp red chilli powder and sea salt. Grate cheese into it and mix well.
  2. Add beer and mix well.
  3. Roughly chop spring onion green stalks and add. Mix well and set aside for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop very small portions of the oats-corn mixture in the oil and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  5. Sprinkle red chilli powder and sea salt on top and serve hot.
