Ingredients for Hirvi Mirchi Cha Thecha Recipe

  • Green chilli 8-10

  • Garlic crushed 7-8 cloves

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Olive oil 1 tablespoon

  • Sesame seeds (til) 2 tablespoons

  • Sea salt to taste

  • Coconut scrapped 2 tablespoons

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons


Step 1

Break green chillies with hand. Heat olive oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, garlic and green chillies and sauté. Add sesame seeds and continue to sauté.

Step 2

Add sea salt, coconut and mix. Add coriander leaves and cook for three to four minutes. Put the mixture in a mortar and pound with the pestle to a coarse paste.

Step 3

Serve with bhakris (type of Indian bread).
