Ingredients list for Grilled Pear with Rose Rabdi

  • 3-4 Pears
  • 3 tablespoons Rabdi
  • 2 tablespoons Candied rose petals (gulkand)
  • 2 cups Rabdi
  • 1/4 cup Balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar

Method

  1. Heat a non-stick grill pan. Peel and halve pears, remove seeds and place the pears in the grill pan, flat side facing down and grill till golden.
  2. Mix together rose syrup, candied rose petals and rabdi in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Heat balsamic vinegar in a non-stick pan, add brown sugar and cook till the mixture reduces to half of its original quantity. Add pears and coat them well with the mixture.
  4. Transfer the pears on a serving plate. Top it with the rose rabdi and serve.
