Ingredients 

  • 4 eggs
  • 8 bread slices
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 6-8 strawberries
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ cup cream
  • 8 tablespoons honey

Method

  1. Peel bananas and cut into ½ inch thick slices. Quarter strawberries and slice them.
  2. Heat 2 tbsps butter in a non stick pan, add bananas and strawberries. Break eggs into a bowl and beat them. Add cream and 4 tablespoons of honey and mix well.
  3. Add 4 tablespoons of honey to strawberries and bananas and mix.
  4. Heat butter in another non-stick pan. Soak bread slices in egg and cook in the second pan. Cook, turning sides. Remove onto a plate.
  5. Place a French toast on a serving plate, put some strawberry-banana mixture over it. Place another slice over the fruits at an angle. Put some strawberry-banana mixture over the top slice and serve.
