By Sanjeev Kapoor 11 Jun 2014 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients White fish, Fresh coconut Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Fish Rolled In Banana Leaves 500 grams White fish 8-10 Fresh coconut 3 cloves Garlic,peeled 2-3 tablespoons Coconut,scraped to taste Salt 1 teaspoon White pepper powder 1 tablespoon Lemon juice , fresh 2 Eggs 1/3 cup Thick coconut milk to wrap Banana leaves,cut into 8-inch squares Method Take shallots in a blender. Add garlic, coconut, fish, salt, white pepper powder, lemon juice, eggs and thick coconut milk and blend to a smooth paste. Wash the banana leaves with boiling water to make it soft and flexible. In the middle of each banana leaf place two to three tablespoons of the paste and wrap it up by rolling the leaf. Seal the top and bottom ends with a help of toothpicks. Grill each packet directly over hot charcoal or under preheated broiler for ten to fifteen minutes, turning it from time to time until the banana leaves are charred. Serve hot.
