Ingredients list for Date Pannacotta

  • ¾ cup Dates Puree
  • ¼ cup Dates chopped
  • ¾ cup Fresh cream
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Castor sugar (caster sugar)
  • ¾ tablespoon Gelatin

Method

  1. Heat together cream and milk in a deep non-stick pan. Add castor sugar, mix and heat till just warm.
  2. Add 1-2 tablespoons water to gelatin and heat in the microwave for 10seconds. Remove from heat and mix well.
  3. Switch off heat and add dissolved gelatin to the cream-milk mixture. Mix well and strain into a bowl. Set aside to cool down to room temperature.
  4. Add date puree, chopped dates and mix well. Pour the mixture into individual silicon moulds and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
  5. Demould and serve chilled.
