Ingredients for Date Pannacotta Recipe

  • Dates Puree ¾ cup

  • Dates chopped ¼ cup

  • Fresh cream ¾ cup

  • Milk 1 cup

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) 1 tablespoon

  • Gelatin ¾ tablespoon


Step 1

Heat together cream and milk in a deep non-stick pan. Add castor sugar, mix and heat till just warm.

Step 2

Add 1-2 tablespoons water to gelatin and heat in the microwave for 10seconds. Remove from heat and mix well.

Step 3

Switch off heat and add dissolved gelatin to the cream-milk mixture. Mix well and strain into a bowl. Set aside to cool down to room temperature.

Step 4

Add date puree, chopped dates and mix well. Pour the mixture into individual silicon moulds and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.

Step 5

Demould and serve chilled.
