Ingredients list for Dakshini Squares
- 3/4 cup Paneer crumbled
- 2 tablespoons Semolina
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper powder
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 1 medium Tomato halved, seeded and chopped
- 4 Bread slices toasted
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 4 teaspoon Oil
Method
- In a bowl mix together paneer, suji, salt and black pepper powder. Add onion and tomato and mix well. Divide into four equal portions and spread each portion on a toasted bread slice.
- Sprinkle some mustard seeds over the paneer mixture and press them with finger tips. Heat one teaspoon oil in a pan.
- Add a slice of bread with the topping side down and cook until golden brown and crisp. Repeat the process with other slices. Cut each slice into four pieces and serve hot with tomato sauce.
