This recipe is from FoodFood TV channel By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Nov 2016 in Recipes Veg New Update Dahi Parwal Main Ingredients Yogurt Cuisine Uttar Pradesh Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients ¾ cup yogurt 250 gms parwal, scraped and halved vertically 2 tablespoons oil 2 bay leaves 6-8 cloves Salt to taste ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder ½ teaspoon cumin powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder ¾ teaspoon red chilli powder ½ teaspoon ginger-garlic paste Method Heat oil in a non stick pan, add bay leaves, cloves, parwal, salt and mix well. Cover and cook for 7-8 minutes or till almost done. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix well. Add ¼ cup water to prevent masalas from scorching. Add ginger-garlic paste and mix. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add yogurt and mix. Cover and cook till the parwals get completely cooked. Serve hot.
