By Sanjeev Kapoor 20 Jul 2020 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Spinach leaves (palak), Fresh cream Cuisine Fusion Course Soups Prep Time 16-20 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Cream of Spinach Soup - SK Khazana 1 medium bunch Spinach leaves (palak) fresh Fresh cream 2 tablespoons + for drizzling 1/2 tablespoon Butter 1 1/2 teaspoons Garlic finely chopped 1/2 tablespoon Refined flour (maida) 2 cups Milk to taste Salt 1 teaspoon White pepper powder Method Heat butter in a non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add refined flour, mix and sauté for 30 seconds. Add milk and mix till smooth. Cook till the sauce thickens slightly. Add spinach leaves and mix well. Cook for 1 minute or till the spinach softens. Add salt and white pepper powder mix and take the pan off the heat. Let the mixture cool. Transfer into a blender jar and blend into a smooth mixture. Strain the soup into another pan and place the pan on heat. Add fresh cream and mix well. Cook for 30 seconds and take the pan off the heat.
