Ingredients list for Chocolate Walnut Tart

  • 250 grams Dark Chocolate chopped
  • Readymade Tart Shells toasted and chopped walnuts 1 cup + for garnishin
  • 8-12 Readymade tart shells
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons Fresh cream
  • 2 teaspoons Orange zest chopped

Method

  1. Melt chocolate and butter together on a double boiler. Remove from heat and mix well till smooth. Add maple syrup, cream and orange zest and mix well.
  2. Cool down to room temperature. Add walnuts and mix well.
  3. Pour the mixture equally into the tart shell and refrigerate for two to three hours.
  4. Garnish with chopped walnuts and serve chilled.
