Ingredients list for Chocolate Souffle

  • 140 grams Chocolate
  • 4 Egg separated
  • 4 teaspoons Orange liqueur optional
  • 4 teaspoons Butter
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Method

  1. Preheat oven at 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6. Grease four soufflé moulds with butter and dust with powdered sugar Melt chocolate and whisk to mix well.
  2. Add egg yolks and mix. Add orange liqueur if using and mix. Whip egg whites till they reaches soft peaks consistency and fold it into the chocolate mixture.
  3. Pour into the greased moulds and bake in the preheated oven for nine minutes. Serve immediately after removing from the oven or else the soufflé effect will be lost.
