Ingredients list for Chocolate Souffle
- 140 grams Chocolate
- 4 Egg separated
- 4 teaspoons Orange liqueur optional
- 4 teaspoons Butter
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Method
- Preheat oven at 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6. Grease four soufflé moulds with butter and dust with powdered sugar Melt chocolate and whisk to mix well.
- Add egg yolks and mix. Add orange liqueur if using and mix. Whip egg whites till they reaches soft peaks consistency and fold it into the chocolate mixture.
- Pour into the greased moulds and bake in the preheated oven for nine minutes. Serve immediately after removing from the oven or else the soufflé effect will be lost.
