Ingredients list for Chocolate And Prune Pudding
- 50 grams Chocolate chips
- 12 Prunes
- 500 millilitres Milk
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 2 tablespoons Cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon Cornflour/ corn starch
Method
- Preheat the oven to 170° C / 325° F. Heat milk in a deep non stick pan.
- Take the pan off the heat and add chocolate chips and stir till they melt.
- Add brown sugar and stir till it melts. Break eggs into a bowl, add 2 egg yolks and whisk well.
- Mix cocoa powder and cornstarch in a bowl. Add a little of the hot chocolate milk and mix well so that there are no lumps.
- Add this to the pan with the remaining chocolate milk and stir well. Add this milk to the eggs, little by little, stirring continuously, till everything is well blended.
- Place 3 prunes in each of the 4 ramekin moulds. Pour the chocolate milk-egg mixture into the moulds.
- Keep them in a tray and pour a little water into the tray.
- Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes.
- Take the tray out and let it cool down to room temperature.
- Chill in a refrigerator and serve.
