Ingredients for Choco Nut Rings- Sk Khazana Recipe

  • Ready-made puff pastry dough 200 grams

  • Refined flour (maida) for dusting

  • Chocolate-hazelnut spread 4 tablespoons

  • Roasted chopped hazelnut 4 tablespoons

  • Egg 1

  • Brown sugar for sprinkling


Step 1

Preheat the oven at 180° C.

Step 2

Dust a little flour on the work top, place the pastry dough on it and roll into a thin sheet. Trim the edges of two sides and divide the sheet into 4 squares.

Step 3

Make 4 cuts at ½ inch distance from each other starting from the bottom on each square leaving about 1 inch space uncut on the top.

Step 4

Apply 1 tbsp chocolate hazelnut spread on each uncut portion and spread it evenly. Sprinkle 1 tbsp chopped hazelnut on it.

Step 5

Start rolling from the uncut portion of the square to form a log. Bring the two ends together to shape it like a ring.

Step 6

Place them on a greased baking tray. Break in an egg in a small bowl and whisk it with a fork.

Step 7

Brush egg on the rings and sprinkle brown sugar. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Step 8

Take it off the oven, arrange them on a serving plate and serve warm.
