Ingredients list for Chilli Garlic Edamame
- 200 grams Edamame (fresh soya beans)
- 6-8 Garlic cloves
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon Crushed red chillies
Method
- Heat sufficient water in a deep non-stick pan, add soya beans and salt and cook for 5-6 minutes.
- Slice garlic cloves.
- Heat olive oil in another non-stick pan.
- Add some ice cubes to a bowl half filled with water.
- Add garlic to the oil in the other pan and saute till slightly burnt.
- Drain soya beans from boiling water and put into the bowl of iced water for a couple of minutes.
- Drain soya beans from the iced water and add to the garlic in the other pan and toss. Add salt and crushed red chillies and toss again.
- Transfer onto a serving plate and serve hot.
