Ingredients 

  • ½ cup broken cashew nuts
  • 8 multigrain bread slices
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Method

  1. Roast cashew nuts in an air fryer at 120ºC for 5-7 minutes or till lightly browned. Transfer into a bowl and cool down to room temperature.
  2. Toast 4 bread slices in the air fryer at 180ºC for 4-5 minutes. Repeat with the remaining 4 slices.
  3. To make cashewnut butter, put cashewnuts in a grinder jar, add 2 tablespoons water, vanilla essence and honey and grind to a smooth paste. Transfer into a bowl.
  4. Take the bread slices out of the air fryer, spread this cashewnut butter on them and halve them. Arrange the slices on a serving platter and serve immediately.
