Ingredients list for Bread Ke Pakode - Grill Pan
- 8 Bread Slices
- 8 teaspoons Potatoes
- 8 teaspoon to serve Coriander and mint chutney
Method
- For the filling mix together potatoes, green chilli, ginger, coriander leaves and salt. For the batter mix together gram flour, carom seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt.
- Add sufficient water and whisk to make a thick batter with pouring consistency. Apply the sweet chutney on one side of four bread slices and green chutney on one side of the remaining four slices.
- Spread the potato mixture evenly on the slices with green chutney. Place the remaining slices over them with the side with the sweet chutney facing the potato mixture.
- Press lightly to secure. Heat the Grill Pan on medium heat. Pour one tablespoon oil in it. Dip the sandwich triangles in the batter and place them in the pan and grill for two to three minutes.
- Turn them over and cook for two to three minutes or till both the sides are equally golden and crisp. Serve hot with green mint and coriander chutney.
