Ingredients list for Biscuit Crumb Pastry
- 2 cups Digestive biscuits crushed
- 75 grams Butter melted
- 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg grated
Method
- Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5. Mix together crushed biscuits, butter and nutmeg thoroughly with a wooden spoon. Press this mixture into a nine-inch pie dish and build it up the sides too taking care that the edges are neat.
- Bake in the preheated oven for five minutes. Set aside to cool in the dish itself. Fill it with a filling of your choice.
