Ingredients list for Bhapa Sandesh

  • 2 litres Cow’s milk
  • Condensed Milk
  • 1/2 tin Condensed milk
  • 15-20 Pistachios finely chopped

Method

  1. Heat milk and when it comes to a boil add two tablespoons of lemon juice. Stir and continue to heat till all the milk curdles and separates from the whey.
  2. Strain and hang the chenna in a muslin cloth till all the whey is drained away. Transfer the chenna into a mixer, add condensed milk and blend till smooth.
  3. Transfer into a flat bottomed container. Cover with an aluminium foil. Steam in a cooker for about fifteen minutes. Once the pressure comes down, take it out and cut into squares or diamonds.
  4. Cool, sprinkle pistachios and serve.
