Ingredients list for Beer Ice Cream
- 1 1/2 cups Beer
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 4 Egg yolks
- 1/2 cup Sugar
Method
- Whisk together egg yolks and sugar till the mixture turns pale yellow.
- Heat together beer and cream in a non-stick pan.
- Slowly pour beer mixture over the egg mixture, whisking constantly to temper the yolks.
- Return the mixture to the pan and cook on low heat, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens.
- Pour the mixture through a strainer into a bowl kept over ice and stir until cool. Freeze in an airtight container.
- Serve.
