Whisk together, refined flour, cornflour, buttermilk, pepper powder, soda bicarbonate, salt and little water in a bowl to make a smooth batter. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, dip onion rings in the batter and deep fry till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot sprinkled with chaat masala.
