Ingredients
- 1 big bathua bunch
- 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
- 2 cups yogurt
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
Method
- Clean and wash bathua leaves thoroughly. Blanch them in two cups of water for two to three minutes. Drain, cool and grind coarsely. Dry roast cumin seeds and grind to a fine powder.
- Whisk yogurt with salt, pepper powder, half the roasted cumin seed powder and half the red chilli powder. Add the ground bathua and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving dish, garnish with the remaining roasted cumin seed powder and red chilli powder and serve chilled.
