Corn was indigenous to America, but is now grown throughout the world. It is used as a vegetable, briefly boiled or roasted or eaten with butter. And it would also interest you to know that the favourite popcorn, made by popping the small corn kernels, is a wholesome cereal food and is easily digested. Besides this, corn sees its use in various other ways – salads, soups, subzis and even sweets too!

Ingredients for Bar-Be-Cued Corn Recipe

  • Corn Corb 4 medium

  • Butter to taste

  • Garlic chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Butter 40 grams

  • Black peppercorns crushed 1 tablespoon

Method

Step 1

Boil the corn in salty water for fifteen to twenty minutes. Drain and keep aside. Put the cobs directly on bar-be-cue. Add finely chopped garlic to the butter and mix well.

Step 2

Add crushed pepper and mix. Apply this mixture liberally on the cob. Let it cook on the fire till a little brown.

Step 3

Serve hot.
