Ingredients list for Aloo Til Tikki
- 3-4 large Potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
- Sesame Seeds
Method
- Heat two tablespoons of ghee in a pan.
- Add sesame seeds, green chillies, coriander leaves, rock salt, asafetida, red chilli powder and mashed potatoes and mix well.
- Remove the mixture from heat and set aside to cool.
- Divide into ten to twelve portions and shape them into round tikkis.
- Heat sufficient ghee on a tawa and shallow fry the tikkis till both the sides are evenly golden.
- Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with green chutney or lemon pickle.
