Ingredients list for Aloo Ki Tikki - Grill Pan

  • 4 medium Potatoes boiled and mashed
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 2 Green chillies chopped
  • 2 inch piece Ginger finely chopped
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • as required Coriander and mint chutney

Method

  1. Place the mashed potatoes in a bowl, add the bread slices and knead together. Add green chillies, ginger and salt and mix well. Add coriander leaves and mix. Heat oil in the Grill Pan.
  2. Divide the potato mixture into equal portions and shape them into round balls. Press them lightly. Place the tikkis in the pan and cook for two to three minutes.
  3. Turn them and cook for a further two to three minutes or till both the sides are equally golden. Serve hot with green coriander and mint chutney.
