Ingredients list for Aloo Basar

  • 3 medium potatoes thickly sliced
  • 4 medium Onions thin slices
  • 5 tablespoons Oil

Method

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick kadai. Add the onions and sauté for three to four minutes. Add the green chillies and sauté for another minute.
  2. Add tomatoes and cook for five to seven minutes. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt and cook for another two minutes.
  3. Add the potatoes and cook covered for eight to ten minutes or until the potatoes are completely cooked. Remove from fire.
  4. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
