Ingredients list for Very Low Fat Brownies
- 3 tablespoons Refined Flour
- 1 cup Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Soda bicarbonate
- 1 cup Castor sugar (caster sugar)
- 1/2 cup Skimmed milk
- 2 Egg white beaten
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Oil
Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4. Line an eight-inch square cake tin with butter paper. Sift the flour, baking powder, soda bicarbonate and cocoa powder into a bowl.
- Stir in the caster sugar, then beat in the milk, egg whites, vanilla essence and oil until thoroughly combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin.
- Bake in preheated oven for about twenty-five minutes or until just firm to touch. Leave in the tin until completely cooled. Using a sharp knife, cut into sixteen squares, then remove from the tin using a spatula.
