Sesame Tofu Sesame flavoured grilled tofu This is a Sanjeev Kapoor exclusive recipe. By Sanjeev Kapoor 25 Mar 2016 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Tofu, Sesame Seeds Cuisine Fusion Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 3.30-4 hour Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients list for Sesame Tofu 250 grams Tofu cut into cubes 1 large Sesame Seeds 8 Cherry tomatoes 1/8 medium Broccoli separated into florets Marinade 3 tablespoons Oil 1 tablespoon Sesame oil (til oil) 1 tablespoon Soy sauce 1 inch piece Ginger 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds (til) 2 tablespoons Sake 1 Spring onion finely chopped Method To make the marinade, combine together oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, sesame seeds, vinegar and spring onions in a bowl. Mix well. Add tofu cubes, toss gently to coat and refrigerate for two hours. Place the capsicum on a heated grill pan and cook, turning frequently, till charred. Transfer in a plastic bag and set aside for half an hour. Peel and discard skin and seeds. Cut into thick strips. Remove tofu from marinade, reserving the remaining marinade for basting. Thread tofu, capsicum, tomatoes and broccoli onto skewers. Heat the Grill Pan. Place the skewers in it and cook for eight to ten minutes, turning and basting them with the marinade. Serve hot.
