Ingredients list for Pineapple Brown Betty
- 20 Canned Pineapple
- 1/4 cup Digestive biscuits
- 1/3 cup Brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
- a few drops Vanilla essence
- 1 large Canned pineapple cubed
- as required Vanilla ice cream
Method
- Combine biscuits, walnuts, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and vanilla essence in a mixer and pulse until the biscuits are finely ground. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
- Toss the pineapple pieces with the crumb mixture in a square glass-baking dish. Bake for thirty minutes or until the pineapple is hot and the crumbs are crusty.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream.
