Ingredients list for Pepperoni Pizza

  • 250 grams Pizza dough
  • 18 slices Pepperoni
  • for dusting Refined flour
  • for brushi Olive oil
  • for spread Pizza sauce
  • 22 Fresh mozzarella slices
  • 18 Fresh basil leaves

Method

  1. Dust the worktop with some flour, place the dough on it, knock back to release excess air and knead again.
  2. Preheat oven to 180° C.
  3. Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll out into large semi-thick discs, place on a baking tray, cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside to prove for 5-10 minutes
  4. Prick the proven discs using a fork and brush some olive oil on top.
  5. To prepare each pizza, spread some pizza sauce over each disc, place 11 mozzarella cheese slices, 9 pepperoni slices and 9 fresh basil leaves over the sauce.
  6. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven.
  7. Cut into wedges and serve hot.
