Ingredients for Pear And Walnut Medley With Cheese Recipe

  • Pears quartered and cored 4

  • Walnuts coarsely chopped 2 cups

  • Honey 2 tablespoons

  • Green cardamom powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Castor sugar (caster sugar) 2 tablespoons

  • Parmesan cheese grated 1/4 cup

Method

Step 1

Heat a non stick pan. Add walnuts, honey and cardamom powder. Cook on high heat till it begins to bubble.

Step 2

Remove pan from heat, and pour the sauce into a wide mouthed bowl and allow it to cool. In the meanwhile, heat the Grill Pan.

Step 3

Add pears and castor sugar. Mix well and grill for two minutes. Serve pears topped with walnut and honey sauce, garnished lightly with grated Parmesan cheese.
