By Sanjeev Kapoor 21 Sep 2015 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Khoya, Powdered Sugar Cuisine Indian Course Mithais Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 31-40 minutes Serve Taste Sweet Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Advertisment Ingredients list for Lacchedar Barfi 250 grams Khoya 125 grams Powdered Sugar 250 grams Petha (sweet) a few drops Edible green colour a few drops Kewra essence 2 sheet Silver warq Method Advertisment Knead khoya till smooth. Mix in sugar and knead again. Grease a tray. Cut the petha in long fine shreds. Place on heat if there is any syrup so as to dry it completely. Mix khoya and dry petha and place on medium heat. Cook, stirring continuously, till the mixture forms a mass. Add green colour and kewra essence and mix well. Remove from heat while the mixture is still quite wet. Pour barfi onto the greased tray and level the surface. Cool completely and garnish with silver warq. Cut into desired shapes and serve.
