Ingredients list for Gur Ki Kheer

  • 1 cup Jaggery
  • 1 1/4 cups Coconut
  • 2 tablespoons Scraped coconut
  • for garnish Fresh malai

Method

  1. Heat six cups of water in a deep non-stick pan and bring it to boil.
  2. Add jaggery and keep cooking till it melts. Add rice and cook till the rice gets cooked.
  3. Add coconut and lower the heat and cook by stirring continuously till it thickens.
  4. Serve hot or chilled garnished with malai.
