Ingredients
- 14-16 garlic cloves
- 1 cup cheddar cheese grated
- 110 grams butter
- 2 tablespoons refined flour (maida)
- 2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon malt vinegar
- 4 tablespoons vegetable stock
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh oregano leaves, chopped
Method
- Crush garlic. Melt 60 gms butter in a non-stick pan, add maida and sauté.
- Add milk slowly and cook stirring continuously.Melt remaining butter in another non-stick pan, add garlic and sauté till light brown. Add brown sugar and mix well.
- Add vinegar and mix well. Add cheddar cheese to the first pan and whisk well. Add vegetable stock and mix.
- Add garlic chutney to the soup and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl. Garnish with oregano leaves and serve hot.
